In a joint statement, the French, Egyptian and Jordanian Foreign Ministries stressed the importance of stopping all unilateral measures that undermine the two-state solution and peace chances.

The three countries reaffirmed their commitment to the two-state solution in accordance with international law and the agreed parameters, the only solution that can lastingly fulfil the aspirations of both Palestinians and Israelis.

Following the tripartite summit between France, Egypt and Jordan on May 18, the French, Egyptian and Jordanian Foreign Ministries held a coordination meeting via videoconference to help advance the concerted efforts on the three countries' plans to address the humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian Territories, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
