Center: IOF detained 495 Palestinians, including 14 women and 76 children, in June

Israeli occupation forces (IOF) escalated their campaigns of abuse and detained 495 Palestinians, including 76 children and 14 women, last June, said Palestine Center for Prisoners Studies.

The Center clarified in its monthly report, a copy of which obtained by Safa, that the occupation authorities continued their policy of arrest campaigns against the Palestinian people who reject the aggressive plans carried out against them.

The report added that it documented 200 arrests in the occupied city of Jerusalem alone, in addition to 9 arrests from the Gaza Strip.

In addition, it stated that the occupation forces arrested the patient, Areej Obaid (34 years), from the Gaza Strip, in occupied Jerusalem, as she is married to a Jerusalemite, and she is receiving treatment for cancer in Jerusalem. She was released after 3 days.

The report added that the occupation detained also 76 minors, a number of them are high school students, and the occupation prevented them from taking final exams.
