Qassem Al-Rajbi...a new witness to Israel's brutality in Jerusalem

The Jerusalemite Qassem Al-Rajbi, 39, is still suffering from severe injuries and bruises to his head and body and lying in his home in the Al-Bustan neighborhood in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem.

Qassem was seriously wounded in the head by the Israeli occupation forces who brutally beatn him.

He told Safa, "For no reason, I was subjected to a barbaric and brutal Israeli attack while bulldozers were demolishing my brother's shop."

He added that he did not carry a stone or a knife to be brutally assaulted by the Israeli soldiers, but rather he was standing to protect his father during their assault despite his old age.

During the interrogation period, the occupation police left al-Rajabi at the police station in Jerusalem, vomiting blood and bleeding his head.

It should be noted that the occupation forces demolished a few days ago a shop in Al-Bustan neighborhood in Silwan, occupied Jerusalem.

The demolition included a crackdown for those who rejected the crime. The owner of the shop, Nidal Al-Rajbi, said that the demolition was part of the policy of deliberate displacement of the people of the neighborhood to create a biblical garden in the place.

He said: "Neither the arrests nor the demolition affects our steadfastness. We will remain in our land and homes in the Al-Bustan neighborhood of Silwan."
