Haniyeh receives a delegation from the Geneva Council on International Relations in Istanbul

The head of the Hamas political bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, received at his residence in Istanbul a delegation from the Geneva Council for International Relations and Development, which included the council’s president, Mrs. Nour Hayati Al-Saqqaf, the council’s Secretary-General Anwar al-Gharbi, and the council’s representative in Tunisia, Mr. Ali Guiza.

The President of the Council reviewed the most important activities of the Foundation in the legal and human rights field related to Palestine, while Mr. Anwar Al-Gharbi referred to the efforts made to lead a European parliamentary delegation to the Gaza Strip next month, while Mr. Ali Guiza recalled the history of the Tunisian role in the legal process to support the Palestinian cause.

For his part, the movement’s leader stressed the importance of the legal path in prosecuting the leaders of the Zionist enemy in international courts, calling for the reactivation of the Goldstein report because of its important symbolism that confirms the systematic and continuous aggression carried out by the Zionist enemy against human justice.

Meanwhile, the deputy head of the movement in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Hayya, stressed during the meeting the need to stop the expansion of the Zionist enemy and expose the falsehood of its narrative to the international community, considering this effort as an important front in defending the Palestinian right.
