The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas mourned the death of Hanna Issa, secretary-general of the Islamic-Christian Commission in Support of Jerusalem and Holy Sites.

"We offer our sincere condolences and sympathies to Issa’s family and our Christian brothers in Palestine on the death of a prominent figure who served the Palestinian cause for years," said Hazem Qasem, Hamas spokesperson.

It should be noted that Issa died two days ago, after years of serving the Palestinian cause.
