Israeli occupation releases prisoner from Ramallah

Israeli occupation authorities released Thursday evening the prisoner Ramez Turki Al-Rimawi from the town of Beit Rima, northwest of Ramallah, after the end of his 18-year sentence.

Local sources said that the occupation released the prisoner, Al-Rimawi, from the Negev prison, as his family waited for him at the Al-Zahiriya checkpoint, south of Hebron.

After his release, the prisoner, Al-Rimawi said that "the suffering of the prisoners in the occupation prisons is great, especially that they were denied visits to their families for a long time, and they faced the Coronavirus pandemic with the simplest means available to them."

It should be noted that the occupation demolished the house of the family of the prisoner Al-Rimawi when he was arrested in 2003.
