A Petition to Occupation Court to appeal administrative decision against prisoner Hamed


The prisoners and ex-prisoners affairs committee on Monday submitted a petition to the Israeli Supreme Court through its legal staff to appeal the administrative detention decision issued against the prisoner Mujahid Hamed from Silwad, Ramallah District, who is continuing his hunger strike for the 13th day in a row, rejecting his administrative detention.

The committee stated in a statement reaches Safa that the trial session for the prisoner Hamed will be held on July 28 to consider the petition submitted by the committee.

The prisoner Hamed, who was arrested on September 22, 2020, is currently being held in the cells of the Negev and two administrative detention orders were issued against him for 6 months.

It was pointed out that the prisoner Hamed is a former prisoner who spent 9 years in the prisons of the occupation and a year and three months after his release, the occupation re-arrested him administratively, and he is married and the father of a child.
