Hamas Youth Department organized, in Gaza on July 27, 2021, a conference entitled "The Role of Youth in Supporting Jerusalem and the Palestinian Cause", which was attended by members of the Hamas Political Bureau, representatives from the Legislative Council, student frameworks, and youth centers and unions.

The recommendations which the conference concluded are:

• Political pressure on the political leaders in society to restore consideration and work to activate the General Union of Palestinian Students and provide it with all Palestinian components.
• Introducing the outcomes of the conference to the concerned political and governmental authorities and adopting all the youth issues mentioned in the conference.
• Working to reproduce the idea of ​​the secretariat and work to implement it in the occupied West Bank, which will contribute to increased interaction in youth and student activities that are intertwined with the occupation.
• Forming a broad coalition body that organizes youth in a national framework that achieves the possible benefit from youth efforts in engaging with the occupation and preserving the Palestinian identity in the West Bank, similar to the coordination of frameworks and youth bodies in the Gaza Strip.
• Strengthening the BDS movement and providing them with continuous support by interacting with their activities and highlighting their actions and discourse directed to the external audience through Palestinian youth and social media.
• Working on networking with Arab and non-Arab frameworks and youth groups that reject normalization.
• Working on forming the youth body for Jerusalem, intensifying and organizing the supportive youth effort, and expanding the effects of its work in all areas inside and outside the country.
• The need to work within youth media initiatives.
• Working to highlight the Palestinian narrative on the Arab, Islamic and international levels.
• Strengthening informal relations with international human rights institutions.
• Working to create means that increase the involvement of youth in the confrontation, with the aim of enhancing their individual feeling towards Palestine.
• Exposing the crimes and violations of the occupation, documenting and publishing them on social media platforms.
• Working to build full awareness, cultural, artistic, and intellectual youth programs in the Gaza Strip and keep the issue of Jerusalem alive in the hearts of Gazans.
• The need for the Palestinian youth in the diaspora to interact with everything that happens in Jerusalem with the various media, political and economic means available, and to work to strengthen the Palestinian narrative among the peoples of the world.
• Forming legal groups to expose Israeli behavior, and forming a specialized legal youth front abroad to defend Jerusalemites and the Palestinian right.
