Research centers for Gender studies in 120 American universities condemned the ethnic forced displacement of the residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood from their houses, according to Quds News Network (QNN).

In a statement, the research centers recognized the Israeli occupation state as an apartheid state, and called on the feminist activists to join "the struggle for Palestine's freedom."

"We respond to the call of solidarity with the people of Palestine, and announce our joining the struggle for Palestinian liberation”, the statement said.

 It also condemned the daily Israeli raids into Al Aqsa mosque and the indiscriminate shelling of Gaza.
