Hamas condemns Israel's demolition of Humsa Al-Bqai'a

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas said today that demolishing Humsa Al-Bqai'a in Tubas, displacing 80 Palestinian citizens, and sabotaging their sources of income and their cattle barns is a crime for which the Israeli government has to be held accountable and punished.

Hamas confirmed in its statement, a copy of which obtained by SAFA, that "the surge in house demolition in the occupied Jordan Valley is intended to depopulate the territory of its indigenous Palestinian owners to pave the way for annexation plans that the Israeli occupation government is practically and effectively implementing on the ground."

"We call for a national strategy based on resistance in all of its forms to protect the Palestinian lands and prevent the Israeli occupation government from implementing its annexation plans on the ground and turn the West Bank into enclosed enclaves and cantons," it added.

The movement urged the Palestinian Authority and Palestinian human rights groups to immediately act at international forums to put an end to the demolition operations conducted by the Israeli government in the Jordan Valley and Jerusalem and launch popular campaigns at the Arab, Muslim and international levels to expose Israeli crimes and boycott Israel.
