Colonial settlers commit 416 attacks against the West Bank residents

A new Israeli report sheds light on the settlers' attacks in the West Bank this year compared to previous years, where the attacks have witnessed a significant escalation since the beginning of the year.

416 attacks by colonial settlers against Palestinians in the West Bank were recorded during the first six months of this year, compared to 507 attacks in the whole of 2020, according to data published by Yesh Din.

The attacks also included attacks on property, physical assault and burning of vehicles. The most prominent of these was the burning of a classroom in Urif, south of Nablus last January, in addition to the burning of a mosque in Al-Bireh in July.

Hebron was the most exposed to violations with with 156 attacks, followed by Ramallah, in which 105 attacks occurred, and in the northern West Bank, 81 attacks occurred.
