Israeli occupation authorities released the prisoner Majdi Al-Qubaisi from the town of Abwein, Ramallah District, after spending 19 years in the occupation’s prisons.

Al-Qubaisi was arrested by the occupation army on November 7, 2002, after storming his family’s home in the town of Abwein, and subjected to a harsh interrogation for more than two months, during which he was subjected to the most severe forms of torture and abuse at the Al-Maskobiya interrogation center.

He was accused of belonging to the Al-Qassam Brigades and participating in shootings at settlers’ cars near Ramallah.

He was sentenced to 19 years in prison.
