Nearly Half of Tulkarm Refugee Camp Residents Displaced Due to Israeli Operation

Tulkarm Governor Abdullah Kamil stated that 48% of the camp’s residents have been displaced due to Israeli military operations, describing it as part of an Israeli plan to alter the landscape of refugee camps across the West Bank. A local committee has been formed to provide shelter and aid to the displaced.

According to *WAFA*, the Israeli forces have continued their assault on Jenin for the 14th day, causing the displacement of 15,000 Palestinians. On Sunday, Israeli forces demolished around 20 buildings in Jenin camp, damaging parts of Jenin Governmental Hospital.

Meanwhile, the military siege on Al-Fara’a camp and the town of Tammun persists for the second day.

The Israeli forces claimed to have killed over 50 "terrorists" in the northern West Bank, including 35 during a large-scale operation targeting Hamas and Islamic Jihad.

A military spokesperson said the campaign, which began on January 21, has also led to the arrest of over 100 individuals, with additional airstrikes killing 15 others.

Israel recently expanded its military operations in Jenin as part of a broader strategy after designating the West Bank a "war target." Last month, the forces launched *Operation Iron Wall*, a large-scale offensive similar to *Operation Defensive Shield* in 2002, which saw the invasion of the entire West Bank during the Second Intifada.
