Israeli forces Thursday attacked dozens of citizens while protesting against the Israeli settlement in Salfit, northern West Bank.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that at least 32 protesters were wounded by rubber bullets, while 23 were suffocated with gas.
For his part, Safa correspondent pointed out that large crowds of Israeli forces stormed Al-Ras town, west of Salfit, and stationed near the municipal stadium before the launch of the demonstration that was called for as a rejection of the settlement bulldozing operations in the area.
"The Israeli forces fired tear gas and rubber-coated metal bullets at the peaceful demonstrators that led to wounding dozens, including Mahmoud Al-Aloul, deputy head of the Fatah, who had been suffocated," the correspondent added.
Reportedly, settlers, a few days ago, began razing areas of land in the Al Ras in preparation for establishing an outpost on it and paving a road linking it to the settlement of "Ariel".
