Israeli Assault on Tulkarem and Refugee Camps Enters 46th Day

Israeli forces have continued their brutal assault on Tulkarem and its refugee camps for the 46th consecutive day, with the siege on Nur Shams camp now in its 33rd day. The escalation has brought intensified military operations, home demolitions, and the seizure of civilian buildings for military use.

Along Nablus Street, connecting Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps, Israeli forces have occupied homes, turning them into military outposts, and erected checkpoints to restrict movement. In Nur Shams, bulldozers demolished homes in Al-Manashiya, part of a plan to alter the camp’s layout under the pretext of road construction.

Residents face live fire, arrests, and threats as they attempt to return to their homes or retrieve belongings. Over 24,000 people have been displaced, with 13 Palestinians killed, including a child and two women, one of whom was eight months pregnant. Homes, businesses, and infrastructure lie in ruins, deepening the humanitarian crisis as the assault continues unabated.
