The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has documented Israel’s systematic destruction of Palestinian families in Gaza, with over 9,300 massacres recorded in 18 months. Entire bloodlines have been erased—parents, children, grandparents—wiped from existence. Preliminary data shows 2,092 families, totalling 5,967 people, completely exterminated, while 4,889 families have been reduced to a single survivor.
Since October 2023, Israel’s genocidal assault has killed more than 50,000 Palestinians, including tens of thousands of women and children, with 113,000 wounded and 11,000 missing—likely buried beneath rubble or forcibly disappeared. The recent collapse of a Qatar-Egypt-US brokered ceasefire saw Israel intensify its campaign, slaughtering 440 Palestinians in under 24 hours, including 200 children in just two days.
"This is a calculated annihilation," said Dr. Rami Abdo of Euro-Med Monitor. "When you kill every member of a family, bomb every hospital, and starve an entire population, the intent is clear: genocide." Over 70% of Gaza’s buildings lie in ruins, hospitals are deliberately targeted, and Israel’s blockade has engineered famine. Clean water, medicine, and food are weaponised.
The world watches in silence. Despite overwhelming evidence of war crimes, international inaction grants Israel impunity. Even during the so-called ceasefire, 175 Palestinians were killed. Now, the bombardment has resumed with renewed ferocity, pushing Gaza’s survivors closer to total eradication.
"The genocide never stopped," said Abdo. "It only paused. Now, Israel is finishing the job." Time is running out. Without urgent intervention, Gaza—and its people—will be erased.
