Gaza's Healthcare System Nears Total Collapse Under Israeli Assault

Gaza's health sector stands on the brink of total collapse as Israel's genocidal war enters its sixth month. Munir Al-Borsh, Director-General of Gaza's Health Ministry, warns that hospitals are running out of fuel and medicines, with 80% of patients now unable to access critical treatment.

The statistics are staggering: over 50,000 Palestinians killed, including 103 daily since Israel resumed bombing on March 18. Some 4,500 amputations have been performed - 800 on children - in makeshift hospitals operating without power or supplies. With fuel reserves lasting just 10 more days, ventilators and life-support machines risk shutting down, sentencing ICU patients to death.

Yet the world remains silent as Israel systematically destroys Gaza's medical infrastructure. In the past day alone, 39 more bodies and 124 wounded flooded overwhelmed hospitals where doctors must now choose who lives and who dies.

This is not just a health crisis - it's a calculated annihilation of Palestinian life. As generators sputter and bandages run out, Gaza's medical staff continue their heroic work, even as the occupation ensures no hospital remains safe from bombardment. The question now is not if the system will collapse, but how many more must die before the international community intervenes to stop this genocide.
