Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) condemned the shooting of the 13-year-old Palestinian child, Ali Abu Alia, by Israeli forces in the West Bank.

The campaign called in a brief statement to boycott Israel and stop supporting its apartheid regime against the Palestinians.
 
Israeli soldiers Friday shot Ali Abu Alia in the stomach during a protest near his village of al-Mughayir in the West Bank district of Ramallah. He later succumbed to his wounds.

The slain child was at one of the weekly Friday demonstrations against Israeli policies in the West Bank, including land confiscation, checkpoints, and enabling settlers' violence.

Following Abu Alia's killing, the UN Special Coordinator for the Peace Process in the Middle East, Nikolai Mladenov, called on Israel to swiftly and independently investigate the incident, inciting it as "shocking and unacceptable."
