Gaza on the Brink of Starvation as Aid Trucks Remain Blocked

The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza deepens as UN agencies confirm that vital food supplies have completely run out. UNRWA announced that its flour reserves were exhausted earlier this week, while the World Food Programme revealed that its entire stock was depleted days ago. Despite 3,000 aid trucks loaded with life-saving supplies ready to enter, Israeli authorities continue to block access to the besieged Strip.

Since early March, Israel's closure of the Kerem Shalom, Zikim, and Erez crossings has choked the flow of essential aid to Gaza’s 2.4 million residents, leaving them to face worsening hunger and disease. Charitable kitchens, once a lifeline for families, are now overwhelmed, with children waiting desperately for a mere plate of food.

The United Nations has warned that waste is piling up across Gaza, fuelling the spread of illness, while medical supplies are also critically low with dozens of trucks stranded at the border. As the blockade tightens, Gaza is being slowly starved, while the world watches a preventable tragedy unfold in silence.
