Gaza Starves Under Siege as Aid Bottlenecks Deepen Hunger Crisis

In Gaza, hunger has become a weapon. As food supplies dwindle and desperation tightens its grip, the entire population now faces acute food insecurity, with hundreds of thousands teetering on the edge of famine. The World Food Programme warns of catastrophic conditions, yet aid remains obstructed, delayed, or diverted, turning survival into a daily battle.

Markets have collapsed. Families now survive on scraps, if they eat at all. Children go to sleep hungry, and mothers watch helplessly as malnutrition grips their babies. Nearly 70,000 children require urgent intervention. But aid, even when it reaches Gaza’s gates, struggles to reach its people. Over 116,000 metric tons of food are stuck at crossings, while convoys that make it through face chaos, ambush, or violence.

Since the start of 2025, more than 600 Palestinians have been killed while simply trying to access food. This is not just a humanitarian failure, it is the deliberate suffocation of a people under siege.

Gaza’s cry is no longer just for food, it is for dignity, for protection, and for a world that will not look away as an entire population is starved before its eyes.
