Unfair trial for a Palestinian prisoner

The Ofer Military Court, on Monday, sentenced Mustafa Ahmed Asafra (22) from Hebron governorate, in the south of the West Bank, to 15 months sentence imprisonment and a fine of 6,000 Israeli shekels.

“The Israeli forces had arrested the young youth Asafra on 4 June, 2020 after they raided, searched, and destroyed his house in Beit Kahil, and they transferred him to the investigation in Etzion Prison,” the Asra Media Office, stated in a statement to the Safa agency

The Israeli court, after postponing his trial several times, sentenced him to 15 months in prison, after he was charged with incitement and participation in anti-occupation activities. However, he has spent 6 months now from his sentence.
