Gaza’s health authorities reported that hospitals across the Strip received several casualties over the past day, as the humanitarian toll of the genocidal war continues to rise. Medical facilities documented the arrival of five people who had lost their lives, including individuals newly killed and another body recovered from beneath collapsed structures. At least six others were admitted with injuries, adding further strain to an already overwhelmed health system.
Officials noted that, despite the announcement of a ceasefire earlier in October, deaths and injuries have continued to be recorded. Since that date, hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and well over a thousand wounded, while recovery teams have continued to extract bodies from the rubble left by months of devastation. These efforts underline the scale of destruction and the ongoing human cost faced by civilians.
Since the beginning of the genocidal war in October 2023, the cumulative figures have reached staggering levels. Health records indicate that tens of thousands have been killed and many more injured, figures that reflect not only recent events but also the long-term consequences of sustained bombardment, displacement and the collapse of essential services. For many families, the search for missing relatives remains unresolved as rescue and recovery operations persist.
