Israel military court, in Beersheba, holds tomorrow the 154 trial of the Palestinian prisoner Mohammed Al-Halabi, 42, head of Global Vision institute in Gaza.
“What is happening with Mohammed Al-Halabi poses threat to the destiny of the legal and humanitarian work regarding the policy of intimidation imposed against the human rights institutions in Palestine,” Prisoner Club stated.
It confirmed that the cause of Al-Halabi, who has been detained since 2016, examines the roles of the international legislate organizations and their humanitarian visions.
It also called on the international institutions to press on the Israeli authorities in order to release Mohammed Al-Halabi, who had been tortured and subjected to investigations for 52 days as he refused to admit the chargers.
Al-Halabi suffers from the signs of torture until today, especially his ability to hear.
Several international messages and statements, issued by international institutions, directly demanded Israel to release him.
Mohammed Al-Halabi is married and has 5 children, who are deprived of meeting their father. He is currently in Rimon prison.
