Deaths Mount as Gaza Ceasefire Violations Continue Unchecked

Three Palestinians, including a police officer, have died from wounds sustained in earlier Israeli strikes, as the genocidal war continues to take lives even after initial attacks. Mohammed al-Attar succumbed to injuries following an air strike near a major junction in Gaza City. Khaled Mohammed Salem Jouda also died from wounds caused by a previous strike in northern Gaza, while police officer Mohammed al-Khatib passed away after being injured in a drone strike targeting a police unit in the city days earlier.

Israeli forces have continued to breach the ceasefire for more than six consecutive months, carrying out gunfire, artillery shelling and demolitions across different parts of the territory. In western Gaza City, a drone dropped an explosive device on the roof of a partially damaged residential tower, adding to the destruction already inflicted on civilian infrastructure.

In the south, heavy gunfire and artillery shelling were reported east of Khan Younis, while areas near the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza also came under bombardment. In Gaza City, further demolitions of residential buildings have been documented, worsening displacement and the collapse of housing conditions.

Since the ceasefire was declared on 11 October 2025, at least 836 Palestinians have been killed and more than 2,300 injured, according to local health authorities. Hundreds of additional bodies have been recovered from the rubble, highlighting the continued human toll despite the formal truce.
