Israeli Forces Continue Deadly Raids Across Gaza Despite Ceasefire Agreement

A Palestinian man has died from wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli strike on central Gaza, as Israeli military operations and bombardments continued across the territory on Friday despite an existing ceasefire arrangement.

Medical sources in Gaza said Majed Attiya al-Wadiya succumbed to injuries caused by an Israeli attack targeting the Nuseirat refugee camp in the central part of the enclave. His death comes amid mounting reports of repeated Israeli violations since the ceasefire came into effect last October.

Residents in southern Gaza also reported renewed artillery shelling east of Khan Younis during the afternoon, while large explosions were heard north of Rafah after Israeli forces carried out demolition operations in the area. Witnesses described growing fear among civilians as military activity intensified once again near residential districts already devastated by months of genocidal war.

According to figures released by Gaza’s Health Ministry, at least 857 Palestinians have been killed and hundreds more wounded since the ceasefire agreement was implemented under American guarantees and mediation involving Qatar, Egypt and Turkey. Palestinian officials say the continued killings and destruction are deepening the humanitarian catastrophe facing the population across Gaza.
