SAFA- The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that ongoing Israeli attacks killed two more civilians and injured 11 others over the past 24 hours, according to casualty tolls received by hospitals across the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the ministry noted that a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense teams continue to face significant challenges in reaching them.
The Ministry further reported that, since the ceasefire on 11 October, the death toll has reached 1,100, while the number of injured has risen to 3,546. In addition, 800 bodies have been recovered during this period.
Israeli occupation forces continued to target displacement camps across the Gaza Strip through artillery shelling and airstrikes, leaving hundreds of people killed and injured, according to Palestinian media reports.
The reports said Israeli occupation forces carried out several demolition operations in Khan Younis, the al-Tuffah neighborhood northeast of Gaza City, and east of Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.
Israeli tanks also opened heavy fire, and drones dropped bombs south of the Qizan Rashwan area, while Israeli artillery shelled the eastern areas of the Bureij refugee camp and eastern Gaza City.
Over 73,200 people have been killed and 173,654 have been injured since Israel began its genocidal war on Gaza on October 23. Most of the territory has been turned into rubble, and nearly 1.9 million people have been displaced.
