Israel postpones trial of two young Jerusalemites

Israeli Court on Monday postponed the trial of two young men from Jerusalem.

Wadi Hilweh Information Center stated that the Israeli court postponed the trial of Alaa Naguib, a resident of the Old City, to next Thursday, knowing that he was arrested last week and was subjected to investigation in the cells of the Al-Maskobiya Detention Center.

Also, the judge delayed the trial of the young man, Ahmed Abu Sobeih, from the town of Beit Hanina, to tomorrow Tuesday.

It is scheduled that the Israeli authorities will today release the prisoner, Orabi Sadiq Ghaith, a resident from Silwan town, who is in the Damon prison, after serving his 12-month sentence.

The Israeli forces, yesterday, arrested the Jerusalemite Mohammad al-Bashiti from the Bab al-Asbat in Jerusalem and transferred him to the Al-Qashleh police station for investigation. Mohammed is the father of the prisoner Hisham Al-Bashiti and the boy Abdel-Rahman, who was released two days ago from the Al-Maskobiya cells.
