Ministry of Economy prohibits marketing an Israeli product in the markets

Ministry of National Economy in West Bank decided today to prohibit the marketing of the dairy product, sour cream, produced by Strauss Israeli Company in the Palestinian markets.

The ministry pointed out that it prohibited its marketing for violating the Palestinian specifications which forbidden the use of fats in the manufacturing.

It mentioned that using prohibited fats in the manufacturing is a commercial fraud that endangers the Palestinian's health. Hence, the consumer protection staff started to withdrew the products for the Palestinian markets.

The ministry called the traders to stop importing it, and the citizens to stop buy it for the risks is imposes on their health and safety.

It also directed them to use the local products instead as they are of high quality and big ability to compete.
