US President Donald Trump announced, on Friday evening, that Israel and Bahrain had agreed to make a "peace deal."
The White House said in a brief statement that an agreement was reached between Israel and Bahrain, during a call between Trump, the King of Bahrain and Netanyahu.
In turn, Jared Kushner told Reuters, "the Bahrain-Israel agreement will include opening embassies in each country."
U.S. President Donald Trump will hold a Sept. 15 signing ceremony for the normalization agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates which was announced on 13 August.
Bahrain had said last week that it would allow flights between Israel and the UAE to cross its airspace. This came after Saudi Arabia decided to allow an Israeli commercial flight to cross its airspace on the way to the UAE.
