Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) condemned the Israeli occupation authorities' decision to sentence Khalida Jarrar, a member of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, to two years of imprisonment.

Fawzy Barhoom, the spokesperson of Hamas, considered the decision continuation of Israel's policy of terrorism and oppression against the Palestinians.

He confirmed that the sentence came to prevent them from implementing their role of fighting and participating in the elections.

He also confirmed that these arbitrary policies will fail, will not break the Palestinians' will, and will not prevent them from keeping up their way to gain independence.
