The International Committee for Support of the Palestinian People confirmed today in a statement that the Palestinian cause is the cause of all honorable people in the world and it is not negotiable.

The Committee added that there is neither peace nor stability in the Middle East without a just solution to the Palestinian cause through the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, the return of refugees, and the release of all detainees.

Moreover, it stressed that national unity is the way to the victory of the Palestinian will and the defeat of the Zionist project that Israel is trying to sell in the region with the support of the United States and some countries, and it will defeat the Israeli annexation plans and its projects in the region.

The Committee welcomed the agreement reached between Fatah and Hamas to hold general elections, starting with legislative elections, to be followed by presidential elections and then for the National Council.

It is noteworthy that the International Committee for the Support of the Palestinian People is a committee affiliated with the African-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization, and includes peace and solidarity committees in African, Asian, and European countries. Its general headquarters is in the Moroccan capital, Rabat.
