Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political office of Hamas, confirmed that the battle of Jerusalem is open and the holy city faces serious threats, particularly the settlers' threats to raid Al-Aqsa Mosque on the 28th of Ramadan.
He said in a statement that they decided with might and main not to allow the barbaric settlers to scatter in Jerusalem and raid Al-Aqsa mosque.
Haniyeh considered Israel's attacks against the Al-Aqsa mosque as a violation of the Islamic nation, and called on all the Arabic, Islamic nations and their governments to stand against Israel, defend Al-Aqsa mosque, and sacrifice their souls and bloods.
"The Islamic nation has to support Jerusalem and Jerusalemites, and we will keep going in the road of resistance, freedom, and return," Haniyeh said.
He called on all the Palestinians inside and outside to bravely say "No" to Israeli settlers, to occupiers, to assaulting Al-Aqsa mosque and Jerusalem.
He also expressed his trust that the Israeli plans will not pass and that the Palestinians have the power to confront them.
