Israel sentences prisoner from Nablus to 30 months imprisonment and fine

The Israeli Salem military court sentenced the prisoner Imad Al-Halabi, 27, from the village of Rogeeb, east of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, to 30 months imprisonment and a fine of 10 thousand shekels.

The Asra Media Office stated that the Israeli forces arrested Al-Halabi on October 24, 2019, after storming his house in Rojit village, searching it and destroying its contents, and transferred him to the investigation in the "Petah Tikva" military camp.

The Israeli court postponed Al-Halabi’ court more than 13 times, under the pretext of completing the judicial procedures against him before issuing a sentence of 30 months in prison and a fine, and he has so far spent 19 months of his sentence.
