Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political office of Hamas, received a call from the former Tunisian president, Moncef Marzouki, to congratulate him on the victory of the Palestinian resistance in the latest Israeli aggression on Gaza. 

Marzouki hailed the Gazans' resistance and bravery. 

He considered this victory a victory to the Islamic and Arab nations. "We are proud of you," he said. 

Haniyeh also thanked Marzouki for his call and his supportive position for Palestine, "You are our companions in this victory," he said. 

He also expressed his deep thanks for Tunis and its people who stood in solidarity with Jerusalem and Gaza, especially during the latest aggression on Gaza.
