Jerusalemite youths rebuilt Samir Mansour library destroyed by the Israeli occupation during its latest aggression on Gaza in the yard of Nabil Alkurd's house in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.
Muna Alkord, a Palestinian activist, said to Safa that a group of Jerusalemites rebuilt the library that was destroyed in Gaza on may 18, 2021 in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem on May 19.
"We decided to open it and provide it with several books. We will expand it in the future," Muna said.
Other Palestinian men and girls expressed their happinnes of the cohesion between Gaza and Sheikh Jarrah.
"We knew that Samir Mansour library was supporting 15 families, but unfortunately it was destroyed during the Israeli bombing of Gaza," she added.
Palestinian activists made murals today on the walls of homes threatened of eviction in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, and wrote the name of families in the neighborhood.
