The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas congratulated the detainee Ghadanfar Abu Atwan for his victory over the Zionist jailer in the hunger strike battle.
"This victory of the detainee Ghadanfar Abu Atwan proves once again the ability of the Palestinian fighter to impose his will on the occupier even in the darkest conditions, and the occupier's inability to defeat him even under the weight of arrest and imprisonment," said Hamas spokesman, Hazem Qassem.
It should be noted that Abu Atwan has been on hunger strike for 65 days in protest of his detention without charge or trial. He broke his hunger strike after reaching an agreement with the Israeli court to end his current detention.
