The Palestinian Authority condemned this Sunday the continuation of the settlers’ attacks against Al-Aqsa mosque, considering them a serious threat to saftey and stability and provocation of Palestinians’ feelings. 

It warned of the risky Israeli escalation where the settlers storm Al-Aqsa mosque with severe protection from the police and the closure of the old city in front of the Palestinians, holding the Israeli occupation responsible for this escalation.

It confirmed that “those Israeli provocations challenge the American demans which called for saving the current historic situation in Jerusalem.”

The occupation forces raided this Sunday dawn the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque, attacked the prayers and evacuated it.

More than a thousand extremist settlers stormed the mosque from the Mughrabi Gate and performed their Talmudic rituals amid severe protection from the occupation police.
