Hamas movement has mourned the murder of the Palestinian youngster Shawkat Awad who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces in Beit Ummar town northwest of Hebron. 

In a statement by Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qasem, Hamas described the “martyr's blood” as “the fuel for the liberation battle”, noting that the killing of this youngster will enhance the Palestinians’ determination to proceed with their revolution. 

The Hamas spokesperson hailed the Palestinians in Beit Ummar who have been through fierce confrontations with Israeli occupation forces.
