Dozens of extremist settlers stormed on Sunday morning the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque through the Damascus Gate, heavily guarded by the Israeli occupation police.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that 112 extremists stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the morning, organized provocative tours in its squares, and received explanations about the alleged Temple.
The Committee explained that 25 Israeli policemen also stormed the mosque's courtyards, pointing out that the settlers performed Talmudic rituals openly in the eastern area of the mosque.
The occupation police prevented worshipers and guards from approaching the settlers during the storming of Al-Aqsa.
The occupation police stationed at the gates of Al-Aqsa detained some of the identities of the worshipers coming from Jerusalem and the occupied territories of the mosque, while they continued to deport dozens of them from the mosque for varying periods.
Al-Aqsa Mosque is exposed daily to a series of incursions and violations by settlers, including provocations against Palestinian worshipers, arrests, and deportations from the mosque.
It is noteworthy that the incursions take place in two shifts in the morning and after the Dhuhr prayer, through the Damascus Gate, the keys of which have been controlled by the occupation authorities since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967.
