Israeli authorities today released the Jerusalemite detainee Jihan Hashima (39 years), after spending a 4-year sentence in Israeli jails.

The Committee of the Families of Jerusalemite Detainees stated that Hashima was detained after she was shot by the Israeli soldiers on December 30, 2016.

She was accused by the Israeli authorities of attempting to carry out a stabbing attack; therefore, she was sentenced to four years.

Hashima was moved in several Israeli jails and has been subjected more than once to solitary confinement and ill-treatment, knowing that she is married and a mother of three children.
