The Quds News Network reported that the resistance factions condemned the Saudi judicial decisions issued against 69 Palestinian and Jordanian citizens, who have been accused of supporting the Palestinian resistance.
Hamas leader, Mahmoud Al Zahhar, said in a TV statement that the Saudi decisions against the prisoners were not expected. "The trials are not even legitimate because they are not based on any crimes," he commented.
He said that those Saudi sentences came as a response to demands made by Zionists. “Is fundraising those who need help in Palestine a crime against Saudi Arabia now?”, he wondered.
Zahhar also stressed that the decisions are political.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Jihad (IJ) movement strongly condemned the decisions and described them as unjust and unfair.
Fateh Al Intifada movement said that “the unjust Saudi decisions against Palestinian and Jordanian detainees are political and illegal and they are a stain on the Saudi regime’s reputation, which has been playing a conspiratorial role against our people and cause to serve the zionist occupation.”
“The detainees did not commit any crime against Saudi Arabia. The unreasonable decisions aim at pleasing the zionist entity and demonize the fight and resistance of our people.”
