The Israeli forces detained on Wednesday morning two employees of Jerusalem's Islamic Awqaf Department while they were working at the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Department reported that the forces detained the head of the female guards department in Al-Aqsa, Zeenat Abu Sobeih, and the employee of the Reconstruction Committee, Omran Al-Ashhab, from inside the mosque's courtyards, and transferred them to investigation.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli authorities continue to target the employees of the Islamic Department through detention and deportation from Al-Aqsa Mosque, as they have recently deported dozens of them.
