Hamas Movement has expressed its solidarity with Algeria in confronting the wildfires raging the mountainous regions east of Algiers.

Offering its sincere condolences to the victims’ families especially members of the Algerian army and the civil defense personnel, Hamas wishes the wounded and injured a speedy recovery.

Hamas added that it trusts Algeria's wise leadership and great people to overcome this ordeal as soon as possible.

Hamas stresses that Algeria, the country of a million martyrs, deserves all the support, and backing of all peoples, especially the Palestinian people, as Algeria has always supported Palestine and its issue in the struggle for freedom, independence and return.
