Israeli occupation suppresses protest against the settlement road in Beita


The Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday suppressed a demonstration and protest against the new settlement road in the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Dozens participated in the event organized by the Factional Coordination Committee against the settlement road built by the occupation and penetrate the lands of Beita and a number of villages south of Nablus.

The participants raised banners expressing their rejection of the settlement road and warning construction companies against continuing to work on it.

The occupation soldiers closed the entrance to Beita in front of the vehicles and fired sound and gas bombs at the participants of the march and prevented them from reaching the town crossing road.
