Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas Movement Ismail Haniyeh sent a congratulatory message to His Excellency Mr. Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Yaqoub on the occasion of his appointment as Prime Minister of the State of Malaysia.

"It is our pleasure in the Hamas movement to send your Excellency our highest congratulations and words of appreciation, on the occasion of your appointment as Prime Minister of Malaysia, asking God Almighty to grant you success in performing your duties in the service of the Malaysian people, and to achieve their aspirations in all fields", Haniyeh said.

Appreciating the role of Malaysia and its historical and honorable positions in supporting the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and permanent solidarity with their just cause, Haniyeh expressed his aspirations to continue and strengthen these positions and roles until the Palestinian people extract their legitimate rights of liberation and right of return, and establish their independent state with full sovereignty with Jerusalem as its capital.

Haniyeh wished the Malaysian Prime Minister, King, Government, and people of Malaysia good health, wellness, further progress, and prosperity.
