Israeli occupation forces attacked a peaceful rally in al-Mughayyir village, east of Ramallah city, causing several to suffocate.

Member of al-Mughayyir Village Council, Marzouq Abu Na‘im, said that Israeli soldiers opened gunfire towards hundreds who took to the streets in protest of the ongoing closure of the eastern entrance of the village and in support of prisoners exposed to brutal mistreatment in Israeli custody, causing several to suffocate from tear gas inhalation.

Abu Ni‘im added that the Israeli occupation authorities have sealed off the village entrance, the main traffic artery, forcing the villagers to take long detours to reach their workplaces.
