On Tuesday, Palestinian Authority security services raided several houses belonging to Banat family in the southern area of Hebron, southern occupied West Bank.
Amar Banat reported to SAFA that the Authority's joint force had broken into a number of family homes and businesses in the southern area under security control.
He explained that they had informed the family of the search for 12 of them accused of shooting at the home of Officer Thayr Abu Juyad, a member of the security services involved in the murder of political activist Nizar Banat.
Banat said that the accusations against family members were unfounded, and that the family condemned the shooting at Abu Juwayad's house and stated that the shooter was the same as the one who assassinated Nazar. "
He stressed that the issue of Activist Banat was one of public opinion, and a purely political and human right issue.
It was pointed out that the case in which his brother Hussein was arrested was the same as the case in which 12 were being pursued.
