On Monday, the Israeli occupation forces prevented citizens from picking olive in Al-Ras area in Salfit in the northern West Bank.
Adel al-Khafesh, the coordinator of the National and Popular Campaign in Support of the Resilience of Farmers in Salfit, reported to SAFA that the occupying forces had prevented dozens of farmers, volunteers and solidarity from picking olives in the Ras area, threatened with settlement.
The occupation had declared the area a closed military zone, under the pretext of being a "State territory," and the occupying forces were spread heavily in the region in preparation for the repression of the campaign's participants.
