Health of prisoner Abu Aker deteriorates

Asra Media Office reported that the Israeli occupation transferred the prisoner Shadi Abu Aker, who has been on hunger strike for 65 days, to Kaplan Medical Center after a deterioration in his health.

The occupation’s court proved his administrative detention for 6 months without his presence, due to his deteriorated health. Abu Aker suffers from pains in the head and stomach, loss of balance, nerve problems; he cannot move but through a wheelchair, and might lose sight at any time if his situation keeps getting worse.

Within the same context, the families of Al-Nasera in the 1948 occupied lands organized a stand in solidarity with the hunger-striking prisoners to call for the end of the prisoners’ suffering and to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to release them.
