The Israeli occupation authorities released the Jerusalemite prisoner, Basil Khalil Al-Sayyad, from the town of Al-Tur, east of occupied Jerusalem after he had served his sentence of six and a half years.

The Head of the Jerusalem Prisoners’ Families Committee, Amjad Abu Asab, stated that the occupation forces had arrested Al-Sayyad on 3/5/2015, after raiding his house.

The occupation court accused him of targeting the occupation soldiers and settlement outposts in the town of At-Tur with stones.

The court delayed his trial several times, sentenced him to six and a half years in prison, and imposed a fine of 80,000 shekels on him.
